Task manager is diabled due to some virus activity in your computer. Whenever you pressed Ctrl+Alt+Del it will show you an Error " Task manager has been disabled by your Administrator". Let us Fix this Issue.
FIX:
Do the Following steps:
1.Press windows Key+ R to get RUN prompt.
2. Type regedit.msc in the box and press OK.
3. Now Local Group Policy Editor will open, now follow these:
- Select User Configuration
- Select Administrative Templates
- Select System
- Select Ctrl+Alt+Delete options
- Select Remove Task Manager
- Double-click the Remove Task Manager option’.
- Set the property of this item as disabled.
For Home Edition users:
1. open Start -> Run and type regedit (Problem in opening? Get solution here )
2. Navigate to the following path:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
3. You will find a registry key with name DisableTaskMgr of type: REG_DWORD
4. Double click the key with and set the Value to 0 . (This is Zero not English Alphabet).
5. Exit the registry and restart to see the effect.
Its a Good Practice to run always an updated Anti-virus in your computer and scanning regularly and External drives everytime you insert, to make your computer Risk-Free.
